Opportunities
Signal above market. Listing below both.
4 mins
The cleanest eBay opportunities are not always the loudest ones. Sometimes the edge is a listing that sits a little below market and a little further below Price Signal fair value, then disappears before most people even refresh the page.
Today's example: Clefairy from Perfect Order
On August 31, 2026, Clefairy 094/088 IR from Perfect Order showed a market price of $19.20. Our Price Signal fair value sat at $21.79, putting the market about 11.9% below the model estimate.
That is a smaller gap than the Mega Feraligatr example, but it is still useful. When fair value stays above the market and a live ask lands lower than both, the listing deserves a closer look.

What the scanner caught
In the live eBay listings table, one clean ask appeared at $18.50. That was about $0.70 under market and $3.29 below fair value.
No dramatic discount required. This is the practical version of deal spotting: use a structural estimate as the benchmark, then watch for asks that still look cheap relative to that anchor. The badge system does the first pass, and your eyes do the rest.

Then it sold the same night
The listing did not sit around for long. The same Clefairy copy sold on Mon, Aug 31 at 7:41 PM, 30 minutes later. for $18.50.
That is the point of the workflow. We are not trying to predict every trade tick. We are trying to surface listings that look sensible versus fair value while they are still actionable.

How to read a setup like this
- Start with fair value vs. market. If the signal is above market, asks below both deserve attention first.
- Scan active eBay listings on the same page and compare the ask to the benchmark, not just to the last sale. Good Buy badges make that faster.
- Move from signal to verification: set, number, condition, language, seller quality, and photos still matter before you decide the listing is truly interesting.
- Treat the gap as a filter, not a guarantee. The tool narrows the search. You still make the call.
What we don't claim
- This is informational market data, not financial or trading advice
- A listing under fair value can still be wrong for your thesis or too thin after fees and tax
- A sold comp validates speed, not certainty. One sale is still one sale
- Price Signal is a structural estimate, not a promise that the market will converge immediately
