1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CardSignals ("the Service"), operated by CardSignals ("we", "our", or "us").

2. Description of Service

CardSignals is a web application that helps you explore trading card game (TCG) market information. The Service includes features such as a Screener for exploring variants, Price Signal and other AI-powered estimates, rankings, and scores derived from market data, watchlists, and related tools. Today we focus on select titles (for example Pokémon TCG, Pokémon TCG Japan, and One Piece Card Game); coverage may change over time.

This tool provides informational market data only. It does not constitute financial, investment, or trading advice. Past price performance does not guarantee future results.

3. AI Features and Price Signals

The Service includes features that use machine-learning or other artificial intelligence models ("AI Features"). These currently include Price Signal, which may display fair-value estimates, likely price ranges, what-if or scenario tools, rankings, scores, badges (such as Good Buy callouts), and similar outputs derived from market data and model assumptions. We may add, change, or remove AI Features over time.

AI Features and Price Signal outputs are informational estimates only. They are not appraisals, guarantees of value, offers to buy or sell, or financial, investment, or trading advice. A difference between an estimate and a listed, asking, or sold price does not mean the market will move toward the estimate.

Coverage is limited. Price Signal and other AI Features may apply only to certain games, sets, cards, or variants (for example, select English Pokémon cards included in a given model training). We may add, remove, retrain, recalibrate, delay, or discontinue models or outputs at any time, including when data is insufficient or a card is outside the trained set.

Outputs may be wrong, incomplete, delayed, stale, or based on thin or opaque markets. Models can reflect gaps or biases in training data. Hypothetical inputs you adjust (such as what-if sliders) produce scenario estimates, not predictions of future prices.

You agree not to rely solely on AI Features or Price Signal outputs when buying, selling, holding, or otherwise dealing in cards or related products. You remain solely responsible for your own research, judgment, and outcomes.

We may use AI and machine-learning systems more generally to operate, rank, filter, score, explain, or improve the Service. Unless we say otherwise, those outputs are part of the Service and are licensed to you only as described in these Terms. You may not use AI outputs, model scores, estimates, or related materials to train, fine-tune, distill, or otherwise improve a competing model or product, or to reverse engineer our models.

4. Assumption of Risk

You understand and agree that TCG markets can be speculative, illiquid, and volatile. Prices may move rapidly, and it may not be possible to buy or sell at prices shown in the Service. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make and any outcomes that result, including any financial or trading losses.

The Service may show data that is delayed, stale, incomplete, estimated, model-generated, or sourced from markets with thin liquidity or limited transparency. You agree not to rely on any information in the Service, including AI Features and Price Signal outputs, as a basis for making trading decisions without conducting your own independent research and judgment.

5. Service Availability and "As-Is" Provision

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CardSignals does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any AI Feature or Price Signal output will be available for a particular card at a particular time.

We will not owe refunds for brief outages or technical issues except where expressly stated in these Terms, at checkout, or required by applicable law.

6. User Accounts

Certain features (such as saving a watchlist or syncing preferences) require a CardSignals account, which we provide through our authentication partner (for example email and password or Google sign-in). Some features, including Price Signal and related AI Features, may also require an active paid plan or trial. Each person is only entitled to one account. Creating or maintaining multiple accounts for the same individual is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of all related accounts.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly at support@cardsignals.trade if you suspect unauthorized use.

7. Acceptable Use and Automated Access

The Service is meant for interactive use through our website. You agree not to probe, scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-export data in a way that could harm performance, evade access controls, or replace normal use of the Service. We may rate-limit, throttle, or block traffic that appears automated or abusive.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• To create accounts through bots, scripts, or other automated means, or to abuse sign-up or trial access.
• To share your credentials with others; each account is for a single individual.
• To build or train a competing product, or for systematic competitive intelligence, using data or outputs obtained from the Service outside what personal use reasonably requires.
• To train, fine-tune, distill, benchmark at scale, or otherwise improve any machine-learning or AI model using Price Signal outputs, rankings, scores, or other AI Feature outputs from the Service.
• To bypass, interfere with, or weaken security, authentication, or technical limits.
• In any way that could damage, overload, or impair the Service or other users' access.

9. Data Usage and Licensing

Market data, rankings, Price Signal estimates, AI Feature outputs, and other materials shown in the Service are licensed to you only for use within the Service and for your own personal or internal business analysis, not for resale or republication as a standalone dataset or competing offering. You may not remove or obscure proprietary notices where we display them, or use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Service, including software, designs, text, graphics, compilations, models, and model outputs as presented in the Service, are owned by CardSignals or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the Service as offered.

11. Fees

Some parts of the Service are offered without charge. Other parts, including Price Signal and related AI Features, may require a paid plan or trial. If you start a paid plan or trial, fees, trial length, renewal, and cancellation terms will be presented at checkout (including through our payment processor). Continued use after notice of updated payment terms may constitute acceptance of those terms.

Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated at checkout, fees are non-refundable. You may manage or cancel a subscription through the billing tools we provide or by contacting support@cardsignals.trade.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or other users. We may also limit or close accounts that show abuse, excessive automated traffic, or other risk signals.

You may stop using the Service at any time. If we offer self-service account closure, you may use it; otherwise contact support@cardsignals.trade.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL CARDSIGNALS OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR TRADING LOSSES, INCLUDING LOSSES FROM BUYING, SELLING, OR HOLDING TCG CARDS OR RELATED PRODUCTS, OR FROM RELIANCE ON AI FEATURES, PRICE SIGNAL OUTPUTS, OR OTHER MODEL-GENERATED ESTIMATES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (IF ANY).

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, security at a particular time or place, or the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data.

Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that market data, prices, rankings, signals, AI Features, Price Signal outputs, or any other model-generated estimates are accurate, complete, current, unbiased, or suitable for any particular purpose, and you acknowledge that some markets may have thin liquidity or limited transparency.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify CardSignals and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes will lie in the federal or state courts located in the United States, unless a different forum is required by law.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms. For material changes we will provide notice through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance unless applicable law requires additional steps.

18. General Provisions

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and CardSignals regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the subject. If any provision is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
